Hey the Leadbelly Utubes didn’t play. I’m familiar with the bluegrass In the Pines. Bill Monroe version. Didn’t know Leadbelly did it too. Lots of common ground with these songs.
Yeah, it’s a Leadbelly tune — or, more accurately, a folk tune popularized by Leadbelly — and it’s wonderful in all its many forms. Try it again? It’s working for me.
