holo pleasures is a tiny little album of surprisingly large internal proportions. Each song clocks in at around two minutes, for a grand total of 12 minutes of magic. It’s so simple it sneaks up on you, and suddenly it’s hugging you from behind, and you don’t even care that the lyrics are nonsense–the melodies are just so god damn good.
It is quiet and succinct and the opposite of flash.
It is elvis depressedly.
It is excellent.
